Our philosophy  at Summit Chiropractic and Rehabilitation PC is to provide the highest standard of care to our patients. We specialize in conservative treatment utilizing the neuromusculoskeletal system. We help patients to re-establish and maintain appropriate range and quality of motion to every joint and muscle in the body.

An initial office visit includes:

  • a thorough history
  • a complete physical exam
  • appropriate labs or diagnostic tests [needle EMG, cholesterol and blood lipids, glucose, liver enzymes, lactate done in house]
  • advanced imaging  (if necessary)
  • arrival at a diagnosis

If your diagnosis falls within our scope of practice and we think we can help you, we will begin treatment.

If your diagnosis falls outside of our scope of practice or we do not think we can help you, an appropriate referral will be made.

Treatments and Techniques

  • testing length and strength of the involved musculature
  • palpating the involved joint motions and assessment of movement patterns
  • specific therapeutic exercises and stretches
  • Chiropractic manipulations
  • muscle facilitation
  • Myofascial release (ischemic compression, post isometric relaxation, PNF)
  • Trigenics technique
  • kinesio tape
  • ultrasound
  • electrical muscle stimulation

It is our goal to give every patient the tools to maintain their own musculoskeletal system. Its our premise  that  to adequately  treat  the neuromuscular- skeletal system  one must address all three systems i.e. joint motion and quality, muscle function, and the neurology which drives the musculature.
