Stress release in the blink of an eye! Rapid Eye Technology (RET) is a natural, safe way to release emotional stress and trauma. Accessing the whole mind/body system while in an awake state allows you to be in control of your journey. This technique empowers individuals to live a happy, productive life by releasing negative belief systems, thought forms, and emotions – all of which contribute to emotional stress.
During REM sleep we process, clear and integrate our day’s experiences; the eyes move rapidly under the eyelids and the eyelids blink or twitch. Rapid Eye simulates REM with an eye- directing device. The peripheral vision picks this up and the brain thinks it is in REM sleep. As the client blinks and breathes deeply, trapped messages and trapped life force energy in the mind andbody are accessed and released. The premise with RET is that the mind/body were created to clear themselves and Rapid Eye allows us to achieve this one layer at a time.
Our body constantly “talks” to us. Consider what your body might be telling you if you felt a pain in your chest. Could you be experiencing heartache or sadness there? Opening yourself to the possibility that your body is “speaking” to you in its own language implies that you can conduct a “conversation” with it and heal your body. This communication is enhanced by listening and being aware of your body on the physical level of understanding.
RET assists in this conversation process Because RET is a natural system that utilizes the body’s own system of communication, it is highly effective in releasing emotional trauma held in the body without having to re-live the event. Rapid Eye works well with all stress factors as well as PTSD, abuse, grief, depression, anger, and fear. Your body already knows what is ready to be released; now you can understand how to release it through RET!

Claudia lived in Colorado for 18 years and following the birth of her daughter in Crested Butte CO she moved to Oregon, practiced homebirth Midwifery for a few years, and then began study with Dr. Ranae Johnson, Founder of Rapid Eye Technology. After six years on the Research Team she became a Rapid Eye Tech and began a private practice in 1992. In 2002 Claudia became a Reiki Master after being a practitioner for ten years. In 2007 she became a RET Trainer for the Rapid Eye Institute.
When her daughter was accepted to Colorado College, Claudia chose to move to Taos, New Mexico and open a RET teaching center to afford clients and Rapid Eye technicians the opportunity to personally grow and learn while basking in the energy of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. It took two years to find a home suitable to the task. The beauty and energy of Casa Luz Del Alma (house of the light of the soul) has emerged as an inviting, safe place where clients and students alike feel the loving, supportive energy of this sacred ground. 
In returning to the Rockies, Claudia wanted to share the gift of RET with her friends in Colorado and has been seeing clients in Summit County and writing for the Summit Daily Health section for the past 8 years. She is in our office on the first FULL week of each month and looks forward to the drive past the Collegiate Range with her constant companion Bella.
