What is Cosmetic Acupuncture?

Cosmetic Acupuncture is a holistic HEALTHY alternative to more invasive techniques like plastic surgery, dermabrasion or injections. Cosmetic Acupuncture is currently gaining more attention in the West as a complementary facial treatment, one that holistically addresses the causes of aging skin, unlike methods such as plastic surgery or Botox injections that only change the appearance without correcting the underlying imbalances

Cosmetic Acupuncture has been around for centuries and has been used by emperors and other wealthy elite in China. It is also a modality that has been used in Europe, Korea & Japan for decades. In matter of fact, the Father of French Acupuncture, Jacques Lavier, created a protocol and incorporated acupuncture facial rejuvenation into practice.

What cosmetic acupuncture is NOT
Certainly, this method is not a replacement for surgery, as acupuncture cannot reshape a nose or chin, yet it can take five to ten years off your face through a safe and less costly alternative without the risks and side-effects that are involved with more invasive treatments.

Dr Waerlop was trained by Dr Martha Lucas, developer of the Mei Zen (Beautiful Person) technique.
